Specialty Equipment Market Association, popularly known as SEMA will be holding their annual show from 05 to 08 Nov 2019. Hyundai shall be revealing their new extreme offroader concept called the Veloster Grappler at the show.

The Veloster Grappler is a small offroad vehicle boasting high ground clearance and superb approach and departure angles to allow for extreme offroading, especially in the desert regions. The car has been provided with brush guards at the front and the rear to protect the body when the terrain goes from bad to worse. It is shod with oversized all-terrain tyres and rally themed Method Racing Wheels. The car has been provided with a roof mounted utility basket from Thule. It has been installed with different lighting options from Baja for high speed desert runs in the dark as well as for lighting the camp area when required.

The utility basket is equipped to install solar panels from Goal Zero which powers and charges an all electric portable power station which is mounted inside the cabin. There are integrated roll bars inside the cabin for added protection and also to facilitate the installation of a spare wheel. An oversized shovel is provided for helping meet an exigencies during the offroad adventure. Napier outdoor dome tent, Scosche Mounts, Goal Zero crush lights and premium Recaro seats finished in a vintage hounds tooth check pattern complete the interiors.

The exterior is wrapped in vinyl with ghosted Hyundai-themed livery. The engine is covered by a Seibon carbon fibre hood which allows for better cooling in extreme condition.
