Talking about the C 43, in phase 1, the stock car had a 3.0 litre biturbo engine already tweaked by AMG to produce 367 BHP and 520 N-m of torque. Carlex squeezed out another 58 BHP out of the engine to produce 425 HP and 550 N-m of torque. The modification was done not to improve the 0 to 100 time but to allow the car maintain a stable speed of between 120 to 250 km/h all day long.

In phase 2 of the modification, the car was installed with and exhaust system with Cat Black valves. The exhaust was split to allow free flow of gases using open flaps. This increased the power by another 20 BHP. In phase 3, Carlex installed sports catalysts with increased diameters along with sports air filters. A new engine map created together with increase of turbine parameters. These modifications led to an increase in the engine output to 486BHP and torque of 680 Nm. The resultant performance helped the car attain a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 3.9 seconds which is now in super car territory.

Once ready for the road, the Carlex design team got busy giving it the oomph to go with its performance. Designers created a bold, athletic interior capturing the essence of the Mercedes AMG and emphasizing its aggressive character. All interior elements have been creatively developed. Various materials, structures, contrasts, additions, stitches, quilting, perforations have given the AMG’s interior lot of dynamism.
The car will now undergo exterior styling and wheel rim change before being finally delivered to the customer who has been waiting in anticipation.
