Granace is a full size van which was launched by Toyota in Japan. The van is designed to ferry passengers in comfort and can be easily used as a larger alternative to some of the luxury sedans. The Toyota Granace comes in two trims, a six seater which has two rows of electrically powered reclining executive class seats behind the driver. Each row has two seats which are heated and cooled and can be reclined. The other trim has three rows of seats with two seats in each row behind the driver. In this, the first row has executive class seats, the second row has manually adjusted captain’s seats and the last row has a 60:40 split bench.

Interiors of the vehicle are in leather and wood. the steering wheel is covered in leather with wooden inserts, as are other trims inside. The car is fitted with all the latest expected gizmos like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with latest version of Toyota Safety Sense, featuring improved sensing functions that make use of the pre-collision safety system that detects pedestrians during the day and at night, as well as cyclists during the day. The new Granace is equipped with a full range of safety equipment like, Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Parking Support Brakes which helps mitigate damage from collisions while driving in parking lots and similar environments by detecting stationary objects. While reversing in parking lots, Rear Cross Traffic Auto Brake with Parking Support Brakes detects vehicles approaching from left-rear and right-rear directions, and engages the brakes when it senses the possibility of a collision. Further, Digital Inner Mirror projects images from the rear-facing camera onto the in-mirror display at the flick of a switch.

The Toyota Granace has an imposing chrome grille with integrated headlamps and LED DRLs. The rear compliments the front in loads of chrome and LED tail lamps. Metal inserts in the cladding and rear give the car a luxury appeal. The Toyota Granace comes with 17″ alloy wheels. The front of the car uses MacPherson strut-type independent suspension, while the rear employs a trailing-link rigid-axle suspension. Despite its high-rigidity body, optimization of the suspension geometry and stroke preservation mean that the car delivers superb ground feel, luxurious ride comfort, and outstanding driving stability.
The Toyota Granace is powered by a turbo charged and inter-cooled 2,754 cc Direct Injection diesel engine with DPR and Urea SCR catalysts to reduce the NOx emissions. The power and torque is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 6 speed automatic transmission.
