Amels and Damen is a Dutch shipbuilder specialising in luxury yachts. They had launched the Amels 60, a 60 meter luxury yacht during the Monaco Yacht Show in August 2019. The yacht has been exteriors designed by Espen Øino while the interiors can be customised by the client commissioning their own interior designer.

Amels 60 has a hybrid propulsion system giving it a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. The 60 meter long and 10.4 meter wide yacht displaces 830 tonnes and can accommodate 12 passengers and 12 crew members. It comes with a large Sun Deck, Swim Platform and folding Owners Suite balcony. This balcony opens a deck hanging from the ship side which opens over the sea. The interiors are light and airy and come with signature large Main Deck windows. It can also stow a 9 meter luxury tender on the foredeck to allow for transfers to and from the shore. The upper deck has a splash pool and a helicopter deck to receive the owner and guests.

The Amels 60 comes with classic lines. It has a stylish modern bow which creates a long waterline which flows into timeless long and slim lines towards the aft. The monotony of the lower deck is broken by four trapezoidal openings in the side.

The company has sold the second Amels 60 yacht through a collaboration with Moran Yacht & Ship. This company not only manages the sales but also oversees the construction. The second yacht is expected to be delivered by 2022. Amels has already delivered 40 yachts since it started operations in 2005.
