Renault is working on a new sub-four meter SUV to compete against the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Brezza just to name a few. The car will be offered as a Renault as well as have a Datsun version. It will be based on the CMF-A+ platform and is expected to share several components with the recently launched Renault Triber. This car is designed for global sales and is expected to be revealed in the nest few months. It may be launched in India in end 2021 or early 2022 and is expected to offer only petrol engine in line with Renault’s decision to move away from diesel engines in India. This engine is expected to be mated with either a five speed manual or an AMT. The car is presently christened the HBC.
