Denmark based Sichterman Yachts have revealed their new 15 m yacht called the Libertas. The first of the vessels has already found a proud owner and is expected to be delivered by April 2020. Designed by Cor D Rover the Libertas is built for high speed jaunts into the sea. The yacht can operate as an independent means of entertainment at sea or double up as a tender for the mega rich when they anchor their super yachts off the shore and want to proceed ashore for an evening of fun and frolic.
The Libertas is powered by two Volvo-Penta IPS 950 systems and has a range of 500 nautical miles on a full tank. Whilst other Sichterman vessels emphasise cruise comfort, the Librtas us designed for speed and is capable of achieving a top speed of 40 knots. The Seakeeper technology onboard takes care of safety and comfort by eliminating boat roll. The yacht has been provided with a joyride control to make it easy and fun to control. It has been also provided with an on-board air compressor to inflate toys and equipment.

The exquisite lines give the Libertas an exclusive timeless appearance, that will remain beautiful today, tomorrow and for years thereafter. The Libertas is available in two versions, a limousine version, allowing guests to sit on board and a day boat, with a saloon inside the hull.
The Libertas has an over all length of 17.73 m and beam of 4.76 m. These yachts displace 20 tons and the hull is made of Aluminium. They are installed with 2 Volvo D11 IPS 2 diesel engine units giving the vessel a cruising speed of 30 knots.
