The 50 m ketch, Rosehearty built by the Italian builder of Super Yachts, Perni Navi won the “Voyager’ Award” at the 14th International World Super Yacht Awards Ceremony at London. The Rosehearty was built by Perini Navi in cooperation with designer Ron Holland.

Perini Navi is an Italian yacht builder who specialises in build super yachts with Aluminium and steel hulls. They control over 55% of the global market for sailing yachts more than 45 m in length. Perini Navi sailing and motor yachts are renowned for their high-quality construction and interior finish, exceptional comfort and seakeeping. They own two shipyards in Italy, at Viareggio and La Spezia; and one in Turkey at Istanbul.
The Rosehearty won the award for her voyages across 24,000 nautical miles which covered oceans from the Caribbean and the South Pacific to Antarctica. The yacht took her owners, guests and crew on exciting cruises to witness some of the most incredible spectacles in nature. After transiting the Panama Canal, Rosehearty reached the Galapagos, and then headed to the Cook Islands followed by Tahiti. On her next cruise, passing by Easter Island and Chile, the ketch sailed along Patagonia and the Land of Fire to reach the Antarctic Circle in January 2019.

The Rosehearty is 50 m long, has a beam of 11.51m and a full load displacement of 486 tons when her draught is 3.95 m with the keel up and 9.75 m with the keel lowered. Her hull is made of Aluminium and she is powered by two Deutz TBD 616 engines producing 1848 KW (2478 HP). These engines can push her to a top speed of 15.6 knots. With 50,000 litres of fuel and 12,400 litres of water onboard, she has a range of 3,000 nautical miles.
The Rosehearty is a two master with a main mast of height 50.09 m and a mizzen mast of height 48.26 m. She has a total sail area of 1,560 sq-m. The interiors have been designed by Christian Liaigre and provide 157 sq-m of rest area and cabins for the owner and guests. That is a 3-bedroom flat in Pune. The lounge area is equal to another 3-bedroom flat at 133 sq-m.
