Skoda India have introduced the Corporate Edition of the Kodiaq and Superb, DSG. The Kodiaq will be available at INR 32.99 Lakhs and the Superb at INR 25.99 Lakhs ex-showroom.

The Kodiaq Corporate Edition is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel engine generating 150 PS of power and 340 N-m of torque transferred to all four wheels using an automatic transmission. This engine accelerates the Kodiaq from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds, pushing the speedo needle to 194 km/h if you keep your right foot mashed. The car will be available in four colours, Quartz Grey, Moon White, Lava Blue, and Magic Black.

On the other hand, the Superb Corporate Edition is offered with a 1.8 litre TSI petrol engine producing 180 PS of power and 250 N-m of torque, enough to push the car to a top speed of 230 km/h. The second option is a 2.0 litre diesel generating 177 PS of power and 350 N-m of torque allowing the car to achieve a top speed of 226 km/h. Both engines allow the Superb a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of sub 9 seconds. It is offered in two colours, Candy White and Magnetic Brown.

The cars are offered with three zone climate control, electrically adjsuted front seats with memory. The Kodiaq’s rear seats can be folded in 40:20:40 ratio and can be adjusted by 18 cm to ensure optimum space for passengers in the second and third rows. The two vehicles hosts technically advanced and intelligent connectivity features adding a practical twist to elegance. They sport an Amundsen infotainment system which has a state-of-the-art 20.32 cm floating touchscreen display. The system is equipped with proximity sensors and SmartLink™ technology, supporting MirrorLink®, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The new age ‘Simply Clever’ connectivity solutions along with BossConnect have been integrated with ŠKODA Media Command App. This allows occupants to control functions like radio, music, and navigation from the comfort of the rear seat.

On the safety front, the Kodiaq has 9 airbags while the Superb has 8. The car has a Multi-Collision Brake (MKB) system which uses the ESC (Electronic Stability Control). This system prevents uncontrolled movement of the vehicle and thus reduce the likelihood of further collisions. To add to safety, SUPERB Corporate Edition comes with the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) for optimum illumination of the road and its surroundings. The AFS system includes headlamp which swivel and corner, in addition to providing dynamic headlamp inclination control. Both cars come with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Break-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assistant (HBA), Anti Slip Regulation (ASR), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), among others.
