At the EICMA show at Milan, KTM has launched three bikes covering the entire range from mid size bike to litre+ capacity. The three bikes launched by KTM are the 1290 Super Duke R, the 890 Duke R and the 390 Adventure. Of these, the 390 Adventure may be expected in India also.

KTM 1290 Super Duke

The KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R is the flagship of KTM. It has won rave reviews as it caters to the preferences and skills of a vast range of motorcyclists. The 2020 bike has a completely new chassis, styling, and electronics. This means that the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R has trimmed weight across the board, while a reworked LC8 engine has unleashed even more power.

KTM 890 Duke R

In the middle weight segment, KTM beefed up their potency with the new KTM 890 DUKE R. The KTM 890 DUKE R is a sportier and edgier naked bike for hard riding as compared to the 790. It produces more power and more torque and has ‘racier’ ergonomics, better brakes, and fully adjustable WP APEX suspension. The KTM 890 DUKE R is ideal for the motorcyclist looking for a more extreme experience or who are searching for more ‘flickability’ compared to a larger capacity model.

KTM 390 Adventure

The new KTM 390 ADVENTURE has inherited the attributes and DNA from the KTM 790 ADVENTURE. It has been designed taking complete advantage of the development information gleaned from nearly two decades of Dakar Rally success. It is breezy and agile and is for riders keen to discover the ‘adventure’ sensation. The KTM 390 Adventure offers added versatility for touring and light offroading. It uses the KTM 390 DUKE as a base, and offers the feel and performance of the all-conquering KTM 450 RALLY. However, for Europe it offers the crucial A2 license compatibility and current Euro emissions standards as part of the package.
